"Hillside 260. Hello?"

YAY!! Finished a painting and it is headed down to the Whidbey Art Gallery for First Saturday, 5 - 7, March 7. My sweet daughter Genna was in Langley for a quick overnight at my house on her way to a conference in LA. She went for an early morning run in the sunshine Wednesday and took a photo on First Street that really spoke to me. It said, "Paint me! Paint me!" So I did.

FEATURED MEMBER AT THE WHIDBEY ART GALLERY

It's a very special month for me at the Whidbey Art Gallery! I am the featured member for the month of March, AND my spot in the gallery wall rotation happens to be on an adjoining wall. So nice! I did (almost) all new work for the featured wall (the plum trees were new in a recent rotation). The two landscapes are watercolor, the new spring pieces feature pen and ink.

The "Boy and his Dog" never tire of the view, and I never tire of painting them!! All are available for sale at the Gallery, or contact me here on FB via PM.
